Membership Accounts

One of the services we offer on our website is Membership Accounts. These accounts allow you to save your progress in games and improve your overall experience. A Membership Account is not required to use our services. Before making an account, you are required to agree to these terms and our privacy practices.

• When you use an account, we store any information provided in our database.

• Accounts can be suspended or terminated at any time without notice or reason.
• We will never share your account information with anyone unless required by law.
• By creating an account, you agree that you are over 13 years old or have parental consent to create an account. Empanadas.io does not knowingly collect information from users under the age of 13.
• Your email address will only be used for account access unless opted in for other emails.
• Your profile picture must be appropriate. We may remove it, or terminate your account, should we feel your picture is vulgar or violating another's rights.
• While we use the latest encryption practices and security standards: We are not responsible should your data be lost or compromised. Should we detect any irregularities, we will notify affected users by email. See our Privacy Policy for more about Data Breaches.
• When using other media (ex: profile pictures) on your account, you agree you own the rights to use that media.
• You agree to not harvest any information from our accounts or services.
• You agree to never decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, rent, sell, lease, loan, distribute, or create derivative works of Empanadas.io.
• You agree not to disrupt, destroy, manipulate, disable, or impair our services.
• Any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our servers is not allowed.
• Your password should never be the same across multiple sites. If you reuse a password on Empanadas.io, you accept any risks that may come with it.
• Should you wish to delete your account, you can do so here. Note that account deletion will inactivate your account and delete your data within 90 days.

Data Manipulation

To keep our website, its contents, and games practical and responsive, we use browser-side scripting. By running more things within the browser, our website is much more responsive by using your computer to process some of your insensitive account data. Purposefully changing this data to break or alter components of our website will result in your account being rendered unusable or termination of your account. It's not hard to do, and if you do choose to do so, we won't be impressed.

Account Misuse

When using our website, you end up reaching our servers. If you abuse our servers, we will ban your access to our website. There are limits imposed on our website to prevent accidental misuse of our servers, should you intentionally break these safeguards, your access and account(s) will be suspended or terminated accordingly.
